We have big ambitions, having recently joined Brunswick Group, to bring the joy of Flite to the world across a new range of innovative products.

Our mission is to build the world’s most loved personal foil craft brand, grow sales in excess of $200m within the next 3 years, and contribute to making oceans quieter and cleaner through the development of new technologies for marine transportation.

Purpose of the role

As our Sales Manager, you operate in the eye of the storm, you understand that when a customer becomes an owner of a Fliteboard, it’s the beginning of a relationship.

The Sales Manager role includes gathering customer insights, analysing market data, and exploring new business opportunities. Furthermore, you will cultivate strong relationships with our partners, and attend various events such as exhibitions, demo days and trade shows.
Domestic and international travel required.

Key accountabilities

  • Rapidly build our B2B network growth in region including the cold-calling initiative
  • Accounts management (B2B sales)
  • Demonstrate superior negotiation and presentation skills with an ability to develop long-term customer relationships
  • Local event support for B2B partners
  • Merchandising at Authorised Resellers
  • Brand & marketing training and support
  • On-water demos, in person instructor training
  • Individual Territory Sales Planning
  • Explore, Develop and Manage distribution partners in specific markets.
  • Collaborate with B2C Team on overall sales performance for the region.
  • Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends to enhance the overall sales approach.

What we would like you to have

  • You’re an absolute water sports and tech fanatic! Whether it’s board sports you’re into or other water related activities, there’s hardly anything you’d rather spend your time doing.
  • You are a BD and Sales professional with 5+ sales years of experience, preferably in a start-up or scale up environment.
  • You understand what it takes to successfully sell high end products.
  • You’re comfortable with international project management.
  • You’re creative, flexible and a team player.
  • You’re an excellent communicator.
  • Ability to be able to travel for this role.
